Before training as a psychotherapist, I gained extensive experience working in a range of NHS settings, supporting individuals with both physical and mental health needs. During this time, I became increasingly aware of the limitations of a purely medical approach and recognized the importance of providing individuals with space to explore the underlying emotional and psychological factors contributing to their ongoing difficulties. This insight motivated me to pursue a 4-year MSc in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy at the University of Brighton.

Since completing my training, I have further expanded my practice by integrating elements of CBT, mindfulness, and systemic approaches. I have had the privilege of working with adults across a broad age range, from young adults in their late teens to those in their 70s.

Currently, I work at a local university, where I provide focused, short-term therapy to undergraduates and postgraduates. Additionally, I maintain a private practice, which typically involves longer-term therapeutic work. As a UKCP-registered therapist, I adhere to rigorous professional standards and engage in regular supervision to ensure ethical and effective practice.

I also have a role as a supervisor, offering guidance and support to both trainee and qualified therapists, helping to foster professional development and ensure the highest standards of clinical care.
