Individual Psychotherapy and EMDR
I offer both short-term and long-term counselling and psychotherapy, tailored to your unique needs and preferences.
In addition to psychotherapy, I am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), a structured approach specifically designed to help individuals recover from traumatic events that have impacted their mental health. EMDR can also been used alongside psychotherapy.
Short-term therapy can be especially helpful following a specific event that has disrupted your sense of balance or well-being. In these cases, supportive counselling provides the space and tools needed to restore equilibrium. If the issue relates to trauma from a single event, we can discuss whether EMDR may be the right approach for you.
For others, a longer-term approach may be more effective, particularly when habitual coping mechanisms no longer work, or when deeper, recurring patterns need to be explored.
At our first meeting, we’ll discuss the most appropriate approach for your situation. Throughout our time together, I’ll work collaboratively with you to review and adjust our goals to ensure the therapy continues to meet your evolving needs.
I can offer therapy sessions both in person and remotely.

BUPA, AXA Health, AVIVA and Vitality
I am a recognized provider of counselling and psychotherapy for a number of major health insurers.
If you wish to use your health insurance policy to fund therapy, please contact your insurer directly to confirm their specific requirements and ensure they will cover the cost of your sessions. In many cases, you may need to consult your GP for a referral before obtaining authorization for therapy. The insurer will also outline the number of sessions they are willing to fund under your policy.
Once you have clarified the process with your insurer, please request an authorization code to begin therapy.
Upon receiving the authorization code, we can schedule your first session. I offer therapy in person, via Zoom, or by telephone, depending on your preference.
Costs
£65 per 50 minute session.
